After Graduation I had the opportunity to volunteer as an assistant video editor at a Polish non-profit organization called Fablab Kamera Akcja! in Warsaw. In several major cities in Poland, they have an event called Long Night of Museums where museums and other cultural locations host indoor and outdoor events for the public to come enjoy for free. At Fablab Kamera Akcja! families came in to sing a song parody together about the cruelty of zoo captivity and wanting animals to roam free in nature. My job was taking the raw green screen footage of these families and making entertaining shorts for Fablab Kamera Akcja! YouTube channel. During normal hours children and adults came to learn various video production skills, including shooting skit videos, voice-over dubbing, and conducting street interviews, the latter being what I mostly helped with.
